Yellow dock (Rumex crispus) - used extensively in the treatment of chronic skin complaints such as eczema, psoriasis, urticaria, prurigo and itching hemorrhoids. Yellow dock is also a valuable remedy for constipation. The action on the gall-bladder gives it a role in the treatment of jaundice when this is due to congestion.
Other Names : Curled or Curly Dock.
Part Used : Root.

Yin Yang Huo Yellow dock(Epimedium grandiflorum), also known as Horny Goat Weed, is a powerful remedy in Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been used for thousands of years to promote male potency and as an aphrodisiac. Recent research has confirmed that Yin Yang Huo can increase sperm production and stimulate sexual desire.

Yohimbe - is the name of the bark of a tall evergreen tree in western Africa known as Pausinystalia yohimbe or Corynanthe yohimbe. Yohimbe bark has been used for centuries in some western African nations for healthy support of erectile function.
Yohimbe bark has been reported to contain up to 6% total alkaloids, 10-15% of which is yohimbine. In other words, a small percentage of a chemical called yohimbine is found in the bark of the yohimbe tree. 
Yohimbe is also effective in women. Women like the enhanced sensation and engorgement of genital organs that yohimbe provides, as long as the dose is kept low to prevent the yohimbe side effects.

Yucca (Yucca filamentosa L., and Yucca glauca)

Zingiber officinale, commonly known as Ginger, has a long history of medicinal use in traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic (Indian) medicine. Modern research confirms its effectiveness in relieving the symptoms of nausea, vomiting, indigestion, flatulence and dizziness. Working mainly in the digestive tract, Zinziber boosts digestive fluids and neutralises acids, making it an effective alternative to anti-nausea medication, but without the usual unpleasant side effects. Zinziber has strong anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties and is also used to treat arthritis and other inflammatory diseases.

Ardrak - Zingiber Officinale (Ginger)
Gingerol, the active compound in Ginger is valued for its cardio-tonic properties.  In a potent 4:1 ratio extract form, concentrated levels of Gingerol stimulate peripheral circulation to the extremities resulting in a warming effect on the testicles and improved functioning of penile muscles.  Elevated quantities of Gingerol serve as an effective stress neutralizer by helping to reduce high blood pressure and cholesterol while improving appetite and digestion and relieving nausea.  Ayurvedic practitioners also rely on Ginger as a "carrier" herb that enables other herbs to react more effectively in the body.
