Bogus Bird Flu Remedies are Cropping Up Online so beware of unscrupulous web sites out there offering herbal remedies for Bird Flu and Tamiflu without a prescription.

With all the media coverage lately on the growing concerns about bird flu, many people are wondering if they can buy any medicines or herbal remedies to prevent this dangerous flu.

The short answer is NO, but that does not stop some web sites and snake oil salesmen from selling pills that supposedly protect you from the bird flu.

Several Web sites are offering Tamiflu, the flu preventative drug, without a prescription.
Others are touting herbal treatments or other medicine to help ward off bird flu.

Buyer Beware:

I for one believe in herbal remedies and the good they can do to combat many types of diseases and illnesses, and would love to be able to say that there is some old Chinese herbal remedy out there for bird flu... but there isn't. So don't fall victim to some snake oil salesman who is dealing in bogus remedies to steal your money while giving a bad name to a mostly honest, multimillion dollar industry selling safe and proven herbs and herbal remedies.
